Ella Sue Dillingham Chilton, 81, of Hopkinsville, KY

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Ella Sue Dillingham Chilton, 81, of Hopkinsville, KY passed away there at 6:43 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 of natural causes.

A native of Dawson Springs, KY born April 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Ola Mae Mullens Dillingham. She had served as secretary for Chilton Roofing for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Lee “Lade” Chilton in 1975. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Kenneth Chilton and his wife Linda, Hopkinsville, one daughter, Carolyn Simons and her husband Bill of Hermitage, Tennessee, one brother, Cleatus Dillingham and his wife Linda, Elizabethtown, KY and one sister, Naomi Nixon, Riverdale, Georgia, three grandchildren; Denny Chilton and his wife Sharon, Carrie Hogancamp and Steve Simons and his wife Ashley, and three great-grandchildren; Bryan Chilton, Kenneth Lade Hogancamp and Haven Simons.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville conducted by Rev. Martha Rucker with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mike Vandicar, Denny Chilton, Steve Simons, Todd Saturley, Michael Chilton, Eric Chilton, Bill Blair, Kevin Addington, Bryan Chilton and Lade Hogancamp.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 2:00p.m. at the funeral home.
