Thelma Louise Reynolds Gilliland, 85, Hopkinsville, KY

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Thelma Louise Reynolds Gilliland, 85, Hopkinsville, KY died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Bradford Heights Health and Rehab Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

A native of Pueblo, Colorado born August 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Reynolds and Mary Jane Barnes Reynolds.  She had been self-employed while working for many years as a sitter and as a nurses aide.  She had attended New Palestine Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Gilliland in 1973.

Survivors include three sons; Jimmie Hamp (Deborah), Chicago, Illinois, Raymond Vick (Lea), Paducah, Kentucky and Jerry Wayne Gilliland (Ashley) of Hopkinsville, two daughters; Mary Ann Majors and Charlotte Faulk, both of Madisonville, Kentucky, three step-daughters; Janice Kay Rust and Mary Jane Skeen, both of Madisonville and Joyce White, Chicago, one brother Glenn Reynolds, Hopkinsville, thirteen grandchildren; Ethan, Liam, Stephanie, Chelsea, Joshua, Ryan, Regina, David, Troy, Colby, Kevin, Keith and Thia, and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at Riverside Cemetery conducted by Rev. Kamal Maddala.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville.

Memorial contributions are suggested to WNKJ Christian Radio, 1100 East 18th St., Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
