Jason Michael Sholar, 29, Crofton, KY

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Jason Michael Sholar, 29, Crofton, passed away Thursday evening, March 7, 2013 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville following injuries sustained in a work-related accident at Martinrea, a local factory.

A native of Hopkinsville born September 16, 1983, he was the son of Michael Sholar and Debbie Sholar, both of Hopkinsville. He was employed by Martinrea and was a maintenance apprentice.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by wife, Ashley Sholar, one son, Nathaniel Kyle Sholar, of the home, one daughter, Morgan Mackenzie Sholar, of the home, one brother, Brian Clark Sholar, Hopkinsville, his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Doss, Hopkinsville, his maternal grandmother, Ruth Clark, also of Hopkinsville, his mother-and-father-in-law, Larry and Crystal Hulsey of Crofton.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville conducted by Rev. Junior Heltsley with burial to follow in the family cemetery on the Hulsey farm in Christian County. Pallbearers will be Danny Dulin, Joey Johnson, Kenny Wayne Gibson, Phillip Joiner, Will Gosset and Caleb Hulsey.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 at the funeral home.
