HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - James Webster Sears, 86 of Shepherdsville, KY went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 22, 2013, following a lengthy Parkinson’s illness.
He was proceeded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Lovie Lee Sears of Shepherdsville, KY in April, 2011. He is survived by his children, James Michael Sears of Norris, TN, and Jeffrey Mark Sears of Anchorage, Alaska, Brothers, Shelby Sears of Shepherdsville, Edward Sears of Shepherdsville, Clayton Sears of Shepherdsville, and Wendell Sears of Clifty, KY, Sisters, Malta Moore of Russellville and Patie Edwards of Clifty, KY.
James was born on May 25, 1926 in Todd County, KY and was a WWII Naval Veteran. James and Lovie were married on June 4, 1948.
Visitation will be 1- 8 pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, KY. The Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Thursday at Davidson Memorial United Methodist Church in Shepherdsville, KY. Burial will be at 2 PM on March 28, 2013 at the Sears Family Cemetery in Todd County, KY. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY is in charge of the burial.
