Larry McMahan, 55, of Owensboro, KY

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Larry McMahan, 55, of Owensboro, KY passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at his home. He was born on April 1, 1958 in Daviess Co., Ky. Larry was a member of Masonville Baptist Church and had worked as an equipment operator for First Impressions Lawn Service. He loved stock car racing and had raced his #29 car in the Street Stock class for many years at KY Motor Speedway.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Earl McMahan, Sr. on November 5, 2003.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sheila Estes McMahan, his mother, Hattie McMahan of Masonville, a brother, Vernon McMahan, Jr. and his wife, Sharon of Moseleyville, two sisters, Tina McMahan of Owensboro and Karen King of Versailles, his mother and father-in-law, Nick “Daddy” and Sandra Estes of Rockport, IN, brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Tina Estes of Rockport and Sam Estes and Angel Ryan of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12 Noon Friday, April 26 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
