Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (5/10/13) – Business is booming in Muhlenberg County. A total of six new businesses joined the chamber at this month's meeting held at the Central City Convention Center on Thursday, April 9, 2013.
 
–Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce president Gary Jones welcomed the following new businesses.
 
–Limousines by Malcolm, owned by Malcolm West and Angela Stovall, located at 906 East Broad Street in Central City, phone 608-5466.
 
–Central Flooring, owners Joel and Julie Hugg, at 308 Harrison Avenue in Central City, phone 754-3323.
 
–Greene Leaf Boutique, owned and operated by Lisa Edwards and Patrick Greene, at 131 East Broad Street in Central City, phone 977-1014.
 
–Miss Hoss' Sweet Shop, owners Linda Vaughn Taylor and Shirley Travis, at 135 South Main Street in Greenville, phone 316-4925.
 
–Noffsinger Physical Therapy, owned by Shawn and Penny Noffsinger, located at 135 Copper Creek Drive, Powderly, phone 377-1810.
 
–Paxton & Ball/Taco Bell-Fastway, Nikki Devine manager of Fastway, and Tina McRoy, manager for Taco Bell, both located in the same building at 1407 West Everly Brothers Boulevard.

The special program and catering were sponsored by Muhlenberg Community Hospital, with special guest speaker Steve Wilson, of Benefit Insurance Marketing in Lexington. Wilson explained many of the changes for business leaders as new portions of the Affordable Healthcare legislation continue to become active in 2014.
 
In other chamber news, this Friday, May 10th at noon, there will be a Chamber ribbon cutting at Wayne's Complete Lawn Care, located at 3686 Highway 62 West, Greenville. The new business is 2 miles past Harkins Gas Station on Highway 62.
