Agnes Irene Thomas, 78

3sunsetHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Agnes Irene Thomas, 78, of Riverbend Road, passed away May 26, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee of a brief illness.

A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, she was born February 9, 1935, the daughter of the late Larry Lee and Norma Mary Cunningham White. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She retired from Blanchfield Hospital as a registered nurse.

Survivors include her son, Charles “Butch” Solly (Donna), of Caldwell County; a daughter, Norma Charlotte Solly Cronin, of Pembroke; a sister, Juanita Stegall (Jerry) of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren, Michelle Solly Wyatt (Seth), Jaclyn Reed Solly, Charlotte Rachel Cronin, and Raymond Earl Cronin; and two great-grandchildren, Cole Daniel Wyatt and Case Eli Wyatt.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, officiated by Rev. Russ Stallons.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville.
