HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Victor Martin Reynolds, 70, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away at 6:00 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
A native of Bethlehem, Indiana born October 18, 1942, he was the son of the late Benjamin Martin and Doris Martin Reynolds.
He retired from the U.S. Army after serving his country for 20 years. Those years included 3 tours of duty in VietNam.
Following his military retirement, he worked as an inspector for 22 years for the Underwriter Laboratories (UL) in Evansville.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, was a Shriner and a lifetime member of the V.F.W.
Survivors include his wife, Marianne Reynolds, three sons; Frank Reynolds and his wife Jennifer of Hopkinsville, Fr. George Lee Reynolds II of Long Beach, CA and Joseph Reynolds and his wife Paula of Green Bay, WI, one brother, Bennie Reynolds and his wife Sherry of Charlestown, IN, two grandchildren; Rachel and Mason Reynolds and two step-grandchildren; Ariel and Zachary Shane.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville with burial to follow in KY Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the funeral home with Masonic rites to be conducted at 7:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Salvation Army.
