Gene Hancock of Hopkinsville, Ky

obit3HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Gene Hancock, a native of Christian County, passed away July 27, 2013. He was the son of the late Othell and Lola Choate Hancock. He was a truck driver for Lilly Brothers and also Agri-Chem. He was a member of Lighthouse Church and of the Sheriff's Posse.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Miller; three daughters, Kim Downs and Lisa Smith, both of Hopkinsville, and Pam Johnson, Clarksville; two sons, Kenny Hancock, Mechanicsville, Virginia, and Joey Smith, Clarksville; and his brother, Thomas Hancock, Lafayette.

Visitation: 4-8 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013
Funeral Service: 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013
Interment: Powell Cemetery, Lafayette
