Loyola Mae Mohon Johnson, age 80 of Sharon Grove, KY

obit18HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Loyola Mae Mohon Johnson, age 80 of Sharon Grove, KY passed away Thursday August 1, 2013 4:00 a.m. at her residence of natural causes.

Mrs. Loyola was born in Todd County, KY on June 21, 1933 the daughter of the late Uhlan C. Stinson and Eura L. Day Stinson. She was a homemaker and attended Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband James H. Mohon in 2003, one son David Mohon in 2005, and two grandchildren Ryan Lorion and Wayne Patton III.

She is survived by her husband Jewell Wayne Johnson of Lewisburg, KY, four daughters Melissa Patton of Copemish, MI, Donna Lorion of Clarkston, MI, Sheila Lacy of Elkton, KY and Beja Picard of Sharon Grove, KY, five grandchildren Renne Krolczyk, Matthew Lorion, Shelton Lacy, Catherine Lacy and Rachel Mohon.

There will be a memorial service on Tuesday August 6, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Marty Heltsley and Rev. Brent Arns officiating. Burial will follow in the Gants Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday August 6, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Logan County Humane Society, 1230 Morgantown Road, Russellville, KY 42276.
