James William (Jim) Keeling, age 68 of Elkton, Ky

blueskyHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - James William (Jim) Keeling, age 68 of Elkton, Ky passed away Friday August 2, 2013 5:00 a.m. at his residence of natural causes. Services will be Tuesday August 6, 2013 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Larry Cardwell and Rev. Eddie Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the McColpin Cemetery in Allegre, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday August 5, 2013 at Latham Funeral Home.

Mr. Jim was born in Akron, OH August 22, 1944 the son of the late Rev. William “Bill” Keeling and Gwenn Curtis Keeling. He was retired from Local 40 International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. Jim was the Author and Operator of Jim Keeling online Ministries and a member of the Allegre Missionary Baptist Church. One son Jimmy Keeling preceded him in death 2008.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Connie Keeling of Elkton, two sons Scott (Renee) Keeling of Elkton, KY, Eric (Melanie) Keeling of Bowling Green, KY, one daughter in law Tammy Keeling of Elkton, KY, one sister Rosanne (Tom) Malone of Crofton, KY, 8 Grandchildren Scottie, Will, Kourtney, Aaron, Alex, Kaitlyn, Madeline and Ethan.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Allegre Missionary Baptist Church in care of Henry Law 1405 Highland Lick Road Elkton, KY 42220.
