HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Beverly Jane LaFlam Farrington passed away at her home in Crofton, Ky on Saturday, August 10, 2013 surrounded by her beloved family and pets, from a battle of many years with cancer.
Beverly was born in Brattleboro, Vermont on July 29, 1948 to the late Henry “Tom” LaFlam and the late Ruth “Gilson” LaFlam.
She is survived by her husband Retired Command Sergeant Major Donald F. Farrington, Jr., 2 daughters; Jennifer Pippin, Kelly Cline and her husband Ronnie, son Pastor Damon “Andy” Farrington, Grandson Seth Cline and his wife Heather, and great-grandchildren Cayden and Aubree Cline, all of the family homestead in Crofton, one sister, Doloros Breen and her husband John of Santa Fe, NM, one brother, Leslie LaFlam and his wife Nancy of Aripeka, FL, her aunt Martha (Gilson) Root of Brattleboro and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Grover and brothers Philix “Butch” LaFlam and Thomas LaFlam.
At her request, she was cremated and her ashes will be spread on the family farm she loved so well. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ingram Cancer Center, Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
