HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Betty Jean Pryor Maddox, 80, Crofton, Ky, passed away at 10:34 a.m. Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
A native of Trigg County born February 14, 1933, she was the daughter of the late James Bourbon Pryor and Lottie Lucille Dunn Pryor. She was a homemaker and a member of Crofton Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Wallace Maddox, one son, James Wesley Maddox and Debbe Renshaw, Crofton, one daughter, Gloria Cook and her husband James, Crofton, two brothers; William 'Bill' Pryor and his wife Isabel, Crofton, and James Rex Pryor and his wife Ann, Lafayette, seven grandsons, Kevin Maddox, Chris Maddox, Travis Maddox, Rusty Maddox, Jason Cook, Jody Cook and Jaye Cook and seven great-grandchildren; Kailah, Jeremy, Riley Jo, Easton, Landon, Jordon and Luke.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Crofton Christian Church conducted by Rev. Steve Allen with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Kevin Maddox, Chris Maddox, Travis Maddox, Rusty Maddox, Jason Cook, Jody Cook and Jaye Cook.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Crofton.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Crofton Christian Church Memorial Fund.
