Nathalie Taylor Walton, 83, of Hopkinsville, Ky

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Nathalie Taylor Walton, 83, of Hopkinsville, Ky, passed away at 1:47 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

A native of Memphis, Tennessee, she was born May 7, 1930, the daughter of the late Mark Norman and Annie Lula Taylor. She retired in 2010 from the school system. She was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Byron Edward Walton in 1996.

She is survived by her son: Mark Totty of Topeka, Kansas; 3 daughters: Nathalie Adams and Anna Mack both of Hopkinsville and Norma Johnson (Frank) of Melbourne, Florida; a sister: Greta Todd of St. Augustine, Florida; 5 grandchildren: Ian Johnson, Taylor Korty, Jessica Green, Steven Totty, and Nathalie Mack; 3 great grandchildren: Avery Korty, Henry Korty, and Brayden Green.

Memorial services will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the service hour. Burial will follow at a later date in Memorial Park, Memphis, Tennessee. Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville in charge of arrangements.
