CADIZ POLICE DEPT 300CADIZ, Ky. (10/22/13) — The Cadiz Police Department recently released the following arrest report:

Officer Aaron Acree arrested Taisha Q. Day, 34, of Cadiz, on 10/14/2013 and served her Christian County District Court warrant for failing to appear in court on a suspended license charge
Officer Aaron Acree arrested Angela M. Lewis, 35, of Cadiz, on 10/15/2013 and served her a Hopkins County District Court warrant for failing to pay court fines stemming from a theft charge.
Officer Roger Knight answered a complaint of suspicious people behind John L. Street Library on 10/14/2013. Officer Knight charged a 13-year-old male juvenile from Cadiz with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was released to the custody of a parent.
Sgt. Scott Brown arrested Ahgeana R. Bailey, 19, of Hopkinsville on 10/19/2013 and served her a Christian County Circuit Court arrest warrant charging her with failure to appear in court to answer charges of Assault-First Degree and two counts of Unlawful Transaction with a Minor - 2nd Degree
Sgt. Scott Brown arrested Nicolas J. Merritt, 21, of Cadiz on 10/19/2013 and charged him with Alcohol Intoxication - 2nd Offense. He was observed under the influence of alcohol on McRidley Street.
Officer Andrew Sanderson arrested Jason Sittig, 34, of Grand Rivers, KY on 10/20/2013 and charged him with Reckless Driving; DUI - First Offense; Resisting Arrest; and Fleeing/Evading - Second Degree. Sittig was observed driving erratically on Main Street. Officer activated his lights and siren in the 2200 block of Main Street. Subject failed to stop and drove to a residence on Nunn Blvd. Subject exited the vehicle and began walking toward the house, ignoring the officer's commands to stop. When Sittig continued to ignore commands and became agitated toward the officer, Officer Sanderson deployed his taser. Subject became somewhat compliant from that point forward. A blood sample was taken and sent to the KSP lab for analysis.
Sgt. Scott Brown is investigating a case of criminal mischief that occurred on 10/15/2013 on Short Street. Nancy Garske reported that someone slashed three of her tires on her vehicle. There is a suspect listed on the report.
