Dorothy Davis Stinson, 84, of Hopkinsville, Ky

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Dorothy Davis Stinson, 84, of Hopkinsville, Ky passed away 2:30PM Monday, January 27, 2014 at Hillside Center in Madisonville, Ky of natural causes.

Mrs. Stinson was born October 18, 1929 in Princeton, Ky, the daughter of the late Forrest and Minnie McConnell Wring. She was retired from Thomas Industry, and Wal-Mart. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, J.C. Davis; her granddaughter, Amy Elizabeth Davis; her sisters, Clara Mae Holsapple, Nancy Lee Darnell, and Mary Thomas Franklin.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Stinson of Hopkinsville, Ky; her son, Terry Davis and his wife, Suzanne of Hopkinsville, Ky; her daughter, Darla Munday and her husband, Mike of Crofton, Ky; her stepson, Larry Stinson and his wife, Susan of Hopkinsville, Ky; her stepdaughter, Anna Pollock and her husband, Bill of Hopkinsville, Ky three grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, and Jacob Davis; her great grandchildren, Owen, Amara, Ali, and Arya Davis.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Private burial will be at later date in Saratoga Church Cemetery in Lyon County, Ky. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
