Central City Police Log - Monday, Feb 17

CCPDCENTRAL CITY, Ky. (2/17/14) — The Central City Police Department released the following reports Monday, Feb. 17.

Brandy E. Jones, 26, and Willis D. Harris, 32, both of Central City were arrested following an investigation by Sgt. Jamie Jenkins. The investigation was opened by Jenkins after three juveniles (ages 11, 12 and 17) were found under the influence of alcohol and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. Jones and Harris were charged with three counts of wanton endangerment and lodged in the Muhlenberg Detention Center.

Chief Brent Roberson and Officer Mike Garrett responded to the Coronada Motel after receiving a complaint of possible drug activity in one of the motel rooms. While inside the room, officers observed several items of drug paraphernalia resulting in the search of the room and its occupants. Items found during the search was suspected methamphetamine and marijuana, several used syringes, approximately $4,000 in cash and a .25 caliber pistol.

CCPD charged John R. Pendley, 34, of Dunmor with trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree/meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also charged was Hilary R. Casey, 29, of Drakesboro for possession of drug paraphernalia. Cory L. Dorris, 31, of Dunmor was also charged with possession of paraphernalia.
