muhlL sheriff 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (4/11/14) — The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Office charged three Muhlenberg Countians on drug-related charges Thursday, April 10.

According to a Sheriff's Office report, deputies went to 340 Bethel Lane in the Greenville/Depoy area to attempt to serve an arrest warrant. During the process, officers located illegal drugs inside the home.

Deputy Brock Mefford charged Ariel Zellers, 211 E. Main St., Powderly with illegal possession of a legend drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputy Alex Piper charged Mitchell Latham, 340 Bethel Lane, Greenville, with possession of a controlled substance, first degree/meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Piper also charged Keith Hendrix, 199 Hickory Lane, Greenville with possession of a controlled substance, first degree/meth, and possession of a controlled substance, first degree/heroin.

Sheriff Curtis McGehee, Det. Wade Griggs and Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force Det. Troy Gibson assisted at the scene.
