Lawrence “Elsworth” Cranor, Age 54 of Princeton, KY and formerly of Christian County

CALDWELL COUNTY, KY - Lawrence “Elsworth” Cranor, Age 54 of Princeton, KY and formerly of Christian County, KY, passed away at 3:10 A.M. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Cranor was born July 16, 1957. He was of Baptist Faith. Additonally, he was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Mr. Cranor was a graduate of Murray State University and during his lifetime he taught at the Christian County Vocational School and he worked for many years for General Electric Manufacturing in Madisonville, KY.

Mr. Cranor is survived by his wife ~ Barbara Cranor of Crofton, KY; a daughter ~ DeAngela Cranor of Christian County, KY; a son ~ Carl Lee Cranor of Christian County, KY and three grandchildren~ Collin Edward McMican, Victoria Passion Cranor and Alanna Joy Mays. Additional surviving family members include Rhonda Curry, Samantha Curry, and Chad Curry all of Caldwell County, KY. Preceding Mr. Cranor in death were his parents ~ Virdie Lawrence Cranor, Eunice Jackson Cranor, and a half brother.

Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2011 from 4 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Friends may call Tuesday morning at the funeral home between 8 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11 A.M. Burial will be in Union Temple Cemetery near St. Charles, KY.
