Jack McMillan, age 84

obitshipHOPKINSVILLE, KY - Jack McMillan, age 84, of McLean Ave passed away at 3:40 AM Saturday, December 10, 2011, at his home of natural causes.

Mr. McMillan was born in Conway, AR on September 23, 1927 the son of the late Dee Green and Zella Shipp McMillan. Jack was a WWII veteran for the US Navy, and a truck driver. He was a member of Kelly Baptist Church for 43 years. He was preceded in death by his son, David McMillan in 2010, and a grandson, Bryan Davis in 1988

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Nettie Learue McMillan of Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Jackie Wayne McMillan and his wife, Terry of Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Diana Dillingham and her husband, Jim of Cottontown, TN, Sherri Davis and her husband, Bobby of Hopkinsville, KY, and Debbie Johnson and her husband, Merrill of Hopkinsville, KY; a daughter-n-law, Linda McMillan of FL; two sisters, Athleen Knapp of CT, and Polly Lewis of MO; thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kelly Baptist Church at 7683 Madisonville Road, Hopkinsville, KY 42240, or Pennyroyal Hospice at 220 Burley Ave, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
