Kenneth Ray Thomas, age 73, of Hopkinsville, KY

 

sunrayHOPKINSVILLE, KY - Kenneth Ray Thomas, age 73, of Hopkinsville, KY passed away at 8:00 PM Sunday, January 8, 2012, at Dawson Springs Health and Rehab of natural causes.

Mr. Thomas was born in Caldwell County, Kentucky on May 30, 1938, the son of the late Fentress A. and Era Hopper Thomas. Kenneth was a veteran for the US Army and a system tech for AT&T for 23 years. He was a member of Henderson Memorial Baptist Church, and Woodmen of the World.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Burgess Thomas of Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Kenneth Wayne Thomas of Gracey, KY; his daughter, Anita Faye Austin of Hopkinsville, KY; and four grandchildren, Betsy Gray, Zachary Thomas, Cary Austin, and Kelsea Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Grace officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
