Ella Frances Ezell, 98, of Owensboro, KY

 

OWENSBORO, KY - Ella Frances Ezell, 98, of Owensboro, KY passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, KY.

She was born on November 14, 1913 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Carl and Katie Lee Hagan. She was employed for 12 years by Mr. Wiggs Department Store. She was the oldest living member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church, having attended since 1930. She had also served as a secretary and as a Sunday school teacher at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ezell, on March 6, 2002.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, Ron, Dennis, Marina, Cindy and Craig.

Services are at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2012, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Eaton Memorial Baptist Church, 1225 West Third Street, Owensboro, KY 42301.
