Jerry A. Watson, 33, of Owensboro

 

OWENSBORO, KY - Jerry A. Watson, 33, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was on October 18, 1978 in Daviess Co., KY. Jerry was a 1999 graduate of Owensboro High School and was always looking for adventure, trying new things, and playing video games. Jerry had worked at the Hugh E. Sandefur Training Center. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frances Webb and Thurman Whitworth.

Surviving are his Wendell Foster’s Campus family, his guardians, Karen Gotzy and Carolyn Filzer, both of Owensboro, his parents, Linda Connors of Owensboro and Jerry Lee Watson of Bryan, OH, a brother, Bobby Bevil and a sister, Chrystal Bevil, both of Owensboro, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, February 9 in the Young Building at the Wendell Foster’s Campus.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Wendell Foster’s Campus, 815 Triplett St., Owensboro, KY 42303. Online condolences may be placed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
