John T. Patrick 85, of Livermore, Kentucky

 

LIVERMORE, KY - John T. Patrick 85, of  Livermore, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at his home in Livermore.

John Thomas Patrick was born January 28, 1927 in Livermore, Kentucky to the late Hobart Leslie and Bertha Tucker Patrick and was married to the former Alice Irene Koontz on October 2, 1948. John retired from Modern Welding of Owensboro and was a member of the Livermore Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed NASCAR races, University of Kentucky Basketball, and repairing lawnmowers.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Irene Patrick, who passed away November 3, 2007 and by a son, Johnny Dayne Patrick.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Tommy and Stacy Patrick of Livermore; a daughter and her husband, Vicki and Dwyatt Cox of Madisonville; four grandchildren, Aaron Patrick, Paige Patrick, Katlyn Patrick, and Kim West; four great grandchildren, Hunter Patrick, Noah Patrick, Tyler Hunt, and Kadi-Beth West; and four sisters, Dorothy Spencer, Frankie Young, Doris Woosley, and Ann Woods all of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Charles Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore. Friends may visit with John’s Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday and from 10:30 A.M. until time of services Sunday at Musters in Livermore.

The John T. Patrick Family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Glenville Baptist Church; 10517 Kentucky 81; Utica, Kentucky 42376. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
