Joseph Lee Sowders, 24, of Owensboro, KY

 

OWENSBORO, KY - Joseph Lee Sowders, 24, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 in Owensboro, Kentucky.

He was born July 14, 1987 to Joseph Earl Sowders and Sheri Dickens Sowders. He was employed at MPW in Rockport, IN and was a member of Bridgepointe Baptist Church. Mr. Sowders enjoyed spending time with family and volunteering at the Pitino Center.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph Earl Sowders and Sheri Dickens Sowders, his siblings, Nikki Sowders, Jamie Sowders, and Tonya Sowders, all of Owensboro, several nieces and two nephew.

Services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Cripps officiating and burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home.
