Louise Hayden 94, of Calhoun, Kentucky

 

CALHOUN, KY - Louise Hayden 94, of Calhoun, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at her home in Calhoun. Avah Louise Young was born August 15, 1917 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Noah and Artellia Igleheart Young and was married to William Lee Hayden on October 31, 1937. Louise was a homemaker and a member of the Beulah General Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and gardening.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hayden, who passed away September 18, 1987 and by a grandson, Travis Smith.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Wayne and Sue Hayden of Rineyville; a daughter and her husband, Avah and Donald Smith of Calhoun; 3 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; and a half sister, Gertie B. Dant of Elba.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Ron Hampton officiating. Burial will be in the Beulah General Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Louise’s Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until time of services Thursday at Musters in Calhoun.
