OWENSBORO, KY - Allen R. Hamm, 51, of Owensboro, KY passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012, at his home.
He was born on August 3, 1960 in Gary, Indiana. He retired from the Street Department of the City of Owensboro. He was the lead singer for the Sundown Band and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of the Crusaders Set Free Motorcycle Ministry.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Hamm; his children, Dustin, Bryce and Lindsay Hamm, all at home; his parents, Charlie and Becky Hamm of Arkansas; brothers, Ronnie Hamm (Tammy) and Gary Hamm both of Arkansas; a sister, Debbie Criss (Greg) of Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; his mother- and father-in-law, Kathy and Donnie Wright of Owensboro; a sister-in-law, Michelle Wright (Brady) of Owensboro; brothers-in-law, Richie Wright and Robbie Wright both of Owensboro; a special aunt, Vickie Harrington of Owensboro; special friends, Tony Stinnett and Brian Kendall both of Owensboro and two special little girls, Mycah Faith and Gracelyn Marie.
Services are at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will follow in Sorgho Baptist Church Cemetery in Sorgho, KY. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allen R. Hamm Memorial Fund, c/o James H.
