Jim Coffman 77, of Calhoun, KY

 

CALHOUN, KY - Jim Coffman 77, of Calhoun, KY passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Owensboro Medical Health System.

James Ellis Coffman was born June 26, 1934 in Daviess County, KY to the late John Howell and Fannie Beatrice Oakley Coffman. Jim was a retired farmer, a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Beech Grove, and enjoyed tractor pulls.

Survivors include his companion, Ola Bell Edds of Beech Grove; three sons, David Coffman of Owensboro; Robert Coffman of Beech Grove, and Lee Coffman of Franklin, KY; three daughters, Kay Moore of Franklin, Jean Hudson of Elba, and Vonda Thomas of Paris, Tennessee; 20 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert Coffman and Joe Coffman both of Beech Grove.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Lester McHatton officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with the Jim’s Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and from 10:30 A.M. until time of services Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.

The Jim Coffman Family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Jim Coffman, Memorial Fund; C/O Jean Hudson; 10864 KY 593; Owensboro, KY 42301. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
