Charles L. Lloyd 76 , of Utica, KY

 

OWENSBORO, KY - Charles L. Lloyd 76 , of  Utica, KY passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at his home.

Charles was born July 3, 1935 in Livermore, KY to the late Bill & Willie Hardin Lloyd. He retired after working for 26 years at Peabody Coal Company and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and especially watching UK Basketball.

Charles was preceded in death by his 1st. wife Yvonne Bolton Lloyd, and a daughter Belinda Carol Lloyd.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Jane Lloyd, 3 sons and their wives: Roger & Debbie Lloyd of Beech Grove, Bobby & Jackie Lloyd of Utica, and Rick & Regina Revlett of Owensboro. 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 sisters: Ada Bell Peterson of Scottsdale, AZ, Fronda Nash of Parker, Co, and Althea Atherton of Aurora, CO, and 6 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with Sister Carolyn Erwin officiating. Burial will be in Island Community Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with the Lloyd Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until time of services Friday at Musters in Livermore.

The Charles L. Lloyd Family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Island Community Cemetery Fund; C/O J.D. Hardison; P. O. Box 162; Island, KY 42350. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
