Jerry Wayne Troutman 67 , of Calhoun, KY

 

CALHOUN, KY - Jerry Wayne Troutman 67 , of Calhoun, KY passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at his home. Jerry was born July 7, 1944 near Glenville, KY to the late Charlie & Marietta Welch Troutman and married the former Carletta Spears Troutman on June 26, 1965. He retired from Peabody Coal Company working at Gibraltar Mine and was a member and on the Trustee Board at Pleasant Hope Baptist Church. He was also a member of the North Mclean Water Board and enjoyed times with his grandsons, traveling, riding 4-wheelers, and collecting old tractors and Case knives.

Jerry was preceded in death by 2 brothers: S.B. Troutman, and Austin Troutman and a sister Margie Crowe.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Carletta Troutman, a daughter and her husband, Christy & Brian Wilson of Calhoun, and a son Jarred Troutman of Livermore, 2 grandsons: Corbin Wilson and Cable Wilson, 2 brothers and their wives: Jake & Shirley Troutman of Utica, and Guy and Jane Troutman of Heflin, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Revs. Ron Hampton and Tracy Burnett officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hope Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with the Troutman Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until time of services Saturday at Musters in Livermore.

The Jerry Troutman Family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideons Bible Program: P. O. Box 241; Livermore, KY 42352. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
