Lee Earl Wingfield, of Owensboro

 

OWENSBORO, KY - Lee Earl Wingfield, of Owensboro, passed away, March 12, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born December 15, 1939 to the late Alvey Wingfield and still living, Ruth Basham Wingfield in Daviess County, Ky. He was retired from coal mining as a welder and he also worked closely with Bill Medley. He enjoyed gardening, working on cars, and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his two sons, Randall Wingfield and Steve(Carol) Wingfield, both of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Amber Coons, Taylor Wingfield, and Tristan Wingfield; great-grandchild, Reese Coons; and two sisters, Alta Reed and Lorene Renfrow.

Services will be held at 2:00pm. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00am. to 2:00pm. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Reverend Caroline Raven will be officiating.
