Anna B. Sutherlin 81, of Owensboro, Kentucky

OWENSBORO, KY - Anna B. Sutherlin 81, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at her home. Anna Bell Howard was born February 26, 1931 in Livermore, Kentucky to the late Eck and Mamie Harrison Howard and was married to Harold Virgle Sutherlin. She retired as a dietician from the former Owensboro Daviess County Hospital in 1989 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Owensboro. Anna enjoyed spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Sutherlin, who died December 26, 1981; and by two sons, William “Chippie” Sutherlin and Waynie Sutherlin.

Survivors include six grandchildren, Chuck Sutherlin and his wife, Shannon, James Sutherlin, Charles Calloway, Carolyn Brown and her husband, Jim, Karen Powers, and Denise Sutherlin all of Owensboro; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Crow of Livermore and Bessie Adkins of Portland, Oregon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Clive Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore. Friends may visit with Anna’s Family from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Monday at Musters in Livermore.
