Edna Owen Ayer 94, of Robards, Kentucky

OWENSBORO, KY - Edna Owen Ayer, 94, of  Robards, Kentucky passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at her home.

Edna Reed Owen was born July 21, 1917 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Orville and Martha Vance Owen and was married to Robert Lee Ayer in 1934. Edna was a retired nurse’s aid and a member of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Ayer, who passed away March 4, 1985; and by two sons, Robert Lee Ayer, Jr. and Henry Ayer.

Survivors include three daughters, Ida Leachman of Owensboro, Martha Ann Stone and husband, Howard of Utica, and Ellen Nunn and husband, Jerry of Robards; 16 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 29 great great grandchildren; two brothers, T.C. Owen of Livermore and Pascal Owen of Macon, Georgia; and three sisters, Ann Cornett of Greenville, Lois Krampe of Louisville, and Joyce Willis of Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel. Burial will be in the Utica Baptist Cemetery in Daviess County. Friends may visit with Edna’s Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until time of services Saturday at Musters in Livermore.
