James O. (Jim) Morris, 64, of Owensboro, KY

OWENSBORO, KY - James O. (Jim) Morris, 64, of Owensboro, KY passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012 at his home.

He was born September 7, 1947 in Whitesville, KY. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and worked at Hillcrest Health Care Center as an LPN. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Morris, a son, Billy Lindsey, and a nephew Wesley Morris.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Bonnie Morris, a son, Bruce Morris of Owensboro, a daughter, Jackie Havener of Owensboro, his father, Marvin Morris, Grandchildren, Hallie Renfrow and Robin Ball, Great Grandchildren, Caylob Roberts, William and Zyler Ball, four brothers, J.E. (Alice) Morris, David (Peggy) Morris, Charlie (Donna) Morris, Bobby (Karen) Morris, five sisters, Evelyn (Sonny) Stacik, Mary Jo (Carl) Westerfield, Nancy (Dennis) Clark, Virgie (Melvin) Evans, Betty (Gary) Murphy, and several nieces and nephews.

Services are at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation is from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, with prayers being said at 6:00 p.m. at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the National Kidney Foundation of KY, 250 E. Liberty Street, Suite 710, Louisville, KY 40202.
