Clarence Eddie Bolen, 73, of Owensboro

OWENSBORO, KY - Clarence Eddie Bolen, 73, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at his home. He was born July 9, 1938 in Spencer County, Indiana to the late John C. and Dora B. Potter Bolen. He was retired from the Indiana Department of Corrections and was a US Army Veteran. He was of the Methodist Faith and enjoyed UK Basketball and cooking.

Aside from his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Bolen and 3 brothers, John W. Bolen, Dean Bolen and Dennis Bolen.

Surviving is his wife, Lou Frazier Bolen, 3 sons, David Bolen of Newburgh, IN, Darrell Bolen of Richland, IN, Dirk Bolen of Ohio, 5 stepchildren, Andy Ball of North Carolina, Stacey Ball-Nieznany, Keith Allen, Pam Allen and Kim Brice, all of Owensboro, a Godson, Braxton Swanagan of Owensboro, 15 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, sister, Barbara Zolgman of Tennessee, and brothers, Billy D. Bolen of Rockport, IN and Trafton Bolen of Dale, IN

Services will be 12:00pm Saturday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Reverend John Harris, Jr. officiating and burial to follow in Midway Cemetery, Midway, Indiana

Visitation will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm Saturday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home.
