OWENSBORO, KY - Judith E. (Judy) Wilson, 62, of Calhoun, KY passed away Monday April 16, 2012 at her home. Judith Ellen Dickens was born November 25, 1949 in Daviess County to James & Bessie Broadley Dickens and married Harry Franklin Wilson on October 23, 1970. Judy was one of the founding members of the No One Left Behind Tabernacle where she loved to sing and play the piano. She was a loving mother and granny who loved sewing, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother Bessie Dickens on June 13, 2009.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years; Brother Harry Wilson. A son and daughter in law; Franklin & Christy Wilson of Calhoun; 2 daughters and a son-in-law: Robin Forker, and Dawn & Jr. Estes both of Calhoun. 4 grandchildren: Avery Forker, Bailey Forker, Chloe Forker, and Michael Carmon; A great grandson: Ryan Carmon. Her father; James Dickens of Calhoun; mother-in-law, Zelma Wilson of Calhoun, 3 brothers: Ronnie and Carolyn Dickens, and Hugh Carroll & Sharon Dickens both of Calhoun, and Rex Dickens of Columbus, OH. 4 sisters: Dianna & Ray Smith, Sandra & Richard Crabtree, Patricia & “Poncho” Hall, and Karen & Kenny Gross all of Calhoun. A special aunt and uncle, Ruth & Jessie Abney of Calhoun, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Sister Gail Willis and Rev. Bill Willis officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Judy’s Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and 9 A.M. until time of services Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.
