Luke Robert Owen Braaksma 19, of Bradenton, FL

OWENSBORO, KY - Luke Robert Owen Braaksma, 19, of Bradenton, FL passed away July 18, 2012 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Luke was born in New Port Richey, FL and formerly lived in Clearwater. He graduated in 2011 from Edison Academies in Bradenton, was attending U.T.I. to become a marine mechanic in Orlando and loved to fish.

Survivors include his mother, Tarra Owen of Bradenton; his father Mark Robert Braaksma of Clearwater; paternal grandparents Marvin & Frances Braaksma of Odessa, FL; maternal grandparents Paschal & Lois Owen of Augusta, GA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Memorial Services were held Saturday July 21, 2012 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory in Bradenton.

The Braaksma Family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Edison Academies; 6210 17th West Avenue; West Bradenton, FL 34209

Local arrangements handled by Musters Funeral Home.
