William Alfred Raley, 70 of Stanley

OWENSBORO, KY - William Alfred Raley, 70 of Stanley passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at his home. He was born on February 28, 1942 in Daviess County to the late Joseph Eloy Raley and Ada Beatrice Cecil Raley. He was retired from Quality Carriers as a truck driver. He enjoyed gardening, and doing lawn mower repairs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Porter Raley in 2010.

Surviving are his children, Dennis Raley of Sorgho, Sonya Stewart and her husband, Michael of Stanley, Mitzie Isom and her husband, Jeff of Quitman, Texas and Paula Haws and her husband, Robert of Sorgho. There are five grandchildren, Crystal Bickett, Stephen Cox, Christopher Isom, Olivia Haws and Robbie Haws; three great-grandchildren, Khyren Johnson, Kenara Johnson and Connor Cox; His brothers, Jerry Raley, David Raley and Bruce Raley; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be at 10:00am. Friday, August 31, 2012 at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home chapel.

Visitation at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home from 3:00 to 8:00pm. Thursday and from 8:00 to 10:00am. Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery in Reed, KY. Alan Bivens will officiate.

The family requests that expression of sympathy take the form of donations to the Hospice of Western Kentucky 3419 Wathens Crossing Owensboro, KY. 42301. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home
