OWENSBORO, Ky. - Foley Pendley 93, of Owensboro, KY passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at his home in Owensboro. Carston Foley Pendley was born February 6, 1920 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late Ambrose and Mae McGragor Pendley and was married to the former Judith Arnold Blanchard on April 22, 1977. Foley was a retired general contractor and a member of the Little Flock Holiness Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a semi-pro golfer.
In addition to his parents, Foley was preceded in death by two daughters, Georgia Tinnell and Mable McDaniels; a grandson, John David Pratt; and a brother, Everett Pendley.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Pendley; a son, Carston Foley "Rudy" Pendley, II and wife, Roxana of Owensboro; three daughters, Elizabeth Moss, Pamela Mackay, and Debra Hunter all of Owensboro; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a brother, Carl Pendley of Owensboro; and two sisters, Ludema Guy of Owensboro and Rita Dunn of Lake Malone.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Larry Pogue officiating. Burial will be in the Nickel Ridge Cemetery in Daviess County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post # 5415. Friends may visit with Foley's family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 10:30 A.M. until time of services Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.
