John (Mick) Aldridge, 60 of Owensboro, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - John (Mick) Aldridge, 60 of Owensboro, passed away on March 7, 2013 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born June 24, 1952 in Daviess County to the late Charlie Aldridge and Eunice McBride Aldridge.

He worked for Greenwell-Chisholm Printing as a printer.

He was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral. Long Time friend of Bill W. Coached girl softball for over 25 years, avid UK Basketball Fan. Was a US Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles I. Aldridge; brother-in-law, Steve Jackson.

Surviving are his spouse of 24 years, Cindy Leachman Aldridge; Children, Jessie(Chase)Swanson of Owensboro, Jennifer(Michael)Chance of Jackson, TN., Wendy(Jacob)Cox of Owensboro, Jessica(Henry)Taylor of Owensboro, Charley Aldridge of Owensboro and Taylor(Ronnie)Hayes of Calhoun; Twenty-one grandchildren; Siblings, Carolyn(Larry)Phillips of Louisville, Onnie Schartung of Owensboro, Edie Main of Owensboro, Cathy Jackson and Sandy Elliott of Owensboro, KY; Many Nieces and Nephews and Cousins.

Services will be at 10:00am. Monday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home.

Visitation at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home from 3:00 to 7:00pm. Sunday and 8:00 to 10:00am. Monday at the funeral home. Prayers will be said at 4:00pm. Sunday.

Burial will be at a later date in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery

The family requests that expression of sympathy take the form of donations to John “Mick” Aldridge Memorial Fund, c/o Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home, 519 Locust Street, Owensboro, KY 42301
