Phyllis E. Roten, 48, of Owensboro, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Phyllis E. Roten, 48, of Owensboro, passed away March 10, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born April 11, 1964 in Owensboro to Ruby Jones Cauley and the late Randall Cauley. She was a member of Calvary Wesleyan Church and a legal secretary for 20 years.

Aside from her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, David E. Cauley.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Stanley Roten, Sr., a son, Stanley Roten, Jr. of Owensboro, her mother, Ruby Cauley of Owensboro, a brother, Randall Dale Cauley of Owensboro, two sisters, Sheila Cauley and Sandra (Doug) Boyle both of Owensboro, several nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law, Bennie Roten and a sister-in-law, Ima Jewell (David) Axley both of Owensboro.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Brother David Fall, Sr. officiating and burial to follow in Calhoun Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
