Patty Burden Frizzell, 63, of Owensboro, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Patty Burden Frizzell, 63, of Owensboro, KY passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at her home. She was born June 11, 1949 in McLean County, KY to the late Leonard and Fannie Bell "Dolly" Adkisson Burden. She was a 1968 graduate of Livermore High School and a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was employed by Drs. Ronald Johnson and Ronald Newton until her retirement and had been employed by other doctors in the Owensboro area. She was a member of Owensboro Christian Church. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, cooking, fishing and flower gardening. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Donald Burden; and three sisters, Mary Bell Kossen, Joan Latham and Janice Kay Willis.

She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Michael Frizzell; a daughter, Tara (Josh) Gann of Owensboro; two sons, Jeremy Frizzell of Owensboro and Jamon (Brandi) Frizzell of Madisonville, KY; a stepson, Brandon (Ashley) Vallee of Evansville, IN; ten grandchildren, Kelsey Clark, Kalyn Frizzell, Keegan Gann, Kylie Frizzell, Kian Frizzell, Kollin Gann, Harper Frizzell, Corbin Vallee, Camden Vallee and Colton Vallee; a great grandchild, Addison Boswell; a brother, Shirley (Janice) Burden of Livermore, KY; seven sisters, Kitty Coffman of Owensboro, Becky Bishop of Hartford, KY, Judy McDaniel of Whitesville, KY, Nancy Logsdon of Livermore, Cherry (David) Kuegel of Owensboro, Lynn (David) McCann of Russellville, AL and Donna (Scott) Fielden of Livermore; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Burden Humphrey; two aunts, Cora Burden and Lorene Hardy; an uncle, Ken Adkisson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, double cousins, friends and former patients; and three special friends; Vicki Newton, Sharon Pike, and Donna Strobel.

Services are 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro, with Donnie Thomas officiating. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday and after 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, 1302 Frederica St., Owensboro, KY 42301.
