Jerry W. Nall, 78, of Owensboro, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Jerry W. Nall, 78, of Owensboro, KY, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at The Richwood in LaGrange. He was born in Webster County, KY on November 23, 1934 to the late Carl and Isabel (Sullivan) Nall. He attended Western KY University where he was a member of Ed Diddle's 1955 Hilltoppers. He was a graduate of Ohio State University, a 1962 graduate of the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and was admitted to the KY Bar Association. Nall began his law practice in Owensboro in 1962 and in 1965 he was admitted to practice before the US Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit and later the US Supreme Court. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, a veteran of the Army National Guard, a member of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, was a KY Colonel and served as Chairman of the Young Republican Club of Daviess County.

Survivors include three daughters, Misty K. Nall of Lexington, Holly (Robert) Popeck of LaGrange, and Robin (Robert) Shelton of Owensboro; four grandchildren, Kyle Shelton, Shelby Shelton, Meredith Popeck and Mallory Popeck; and a brother, Stanley (Anna) Nall of Providence.

Services will be at 6:00p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. at the funeral home.
