James Glen Nichols, 88, of Owensboro, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - James Glen Nichols, 88, of Owensboro, KY passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at his home.
 
He was born on July 6, 1924 to the late Mason and Vertie Nichols. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife of 60 years: Bettye Miller Nichols and their two children: Greta (Harold) Akridge and Brent (Karen) Nichols. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Ben (Amy) Nichols, Matthew Akridge, Laura (Brad) Wright and Sara McGown.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 10:00 until noon at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Services will be at noon at the funeral home with burial in Bowling Green Gardens.
 
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Western KY or your local hospice.
