OWENSBORO, Ky. - Florene Miller 94, formerly of Sacramento, KY passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Riverside Manor Health Care Center in Calhoun. Florene Hopkins was born September 1, 1918 in McLean County, KY to the late Howard and Pate Sullivan Hopkins and was married to Albert Les Miller. Florene was a homemaker and a member of Worthington Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, caring for her flowers, gardening, and sitting on her porch and watching the birds.
In addition to her parents, Florene was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Miller who passed away January 15, 1976 and by a daughter, Darlene Sallee Boyken.
Survivors include a son, Elvis Miller of Livermore; three daughters, Ann Burden of Sacramento, Carolyn Proctor of Alabama, and Jessie Whitmer of Sacramento; 10 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Donald Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Worthington Chapel Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Florene's family from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Wednesday at Musters in Livermore.
