Earl R .Russell, 84, of Sebree, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Earl R .Russell, 84, of Sebree, KY passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Henderson, KY. He was born July 20, 1928 in Ohio County to the late Leslie and Bessie Evans Russell. Mr. Russell worked for Owensboro Ashland Oil for 41 years and was a Deacon of The Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed gardening and hunting.

Aside from his parents, he is preceded in death by five sisters and a brother, Loberta Rice, Leonard Russell, Imogene Lunsford, Pearlie Mae Rice, Coleen Crowe and Esther Morgan.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruby Peercy Russell, a daughter, Joyce Frederick, two sons, Darrell (Linda) Russell, Mike (Shelia) Russell, five grandchildren, Jason Russell, Amy Hibbs, Steven Frederick, Joshua Russell, Mikayla Russell, four great grandchildren and two brothers, Charles Russell and Hayward Russell.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Reverend Nathan Baize officiating and burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home and from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
