Gregory Lee Devine (Puddin), 35, of Masonville

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Gregory Lee Devine (Puddin), 35, of Masonville, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 at his home. He was born July 7, 1977 in Owensboro to Robert William Devine and Sandra Mae Newton Devine. He was employed with Premium Allied and Tool and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Greg was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially rabbit hunting with his dogs, Buddy, Anne, Babs and Bull. Some of his greatest pleasures also included cooking. He took pride in barbequing, especially for family gatherings and for his neighbors on Cherry Lane in Masonville. Greg also loved singing karaoke at the Am-Vets, Duke Basketball “where he got a lot of kidding.” But his greatest joy was spending time with his wife and children.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Rua Newton, and nephews, “Lil” Jerry and “Lil” Ryan and their mother his sister-in-law, Wendy Marsh Devine.

Aside from his parents, surviving is his wife of nine years, Wendy Devine, his children, Dallas, Hunter and Madison Devine all of Owensboro, siblings, Brad (Cathy) Devine, Scott Devine, loving sister Becky (Scott) Devine Lenzi, Ryan Devine, Heath (Kristy) Devine, all of Owensboro, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Brad Whistle officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
