Marian Brown Fentress, 85, of Owensboro, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Marian Brown Fentress, 85, of Owensboro, KY passed away April 14, 2013 at Kindred Riverside Manor in Calhoun, KY. She was born on January 30, 1928 in Livermore, KY to the late Goebel and Evlyn (Kirkland) Brown. She was retired from General Electric and a member of Faith Temple Church. Marian enjoyed spending time with her family and was known for her delicious chocolate pies. She was particularly proud of her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Mervil Edward Fentress; a brother, Gerald Brown; and a great-great-grandchild, Skyler Marie Wade.

Survivors include her two sons, Larry (Sue) Burris and Dennis (Linda) Fentress; two daughters, Connie Carlisle and Linda Jane Fentress, all of Owensboro; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Sue (Don) Sublett; a brother, Donnie (Iris) Brown; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Brown.

Services will be at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will follow in Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. and after 9:00a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
