Margie Lively Crabtree, 84, of Owensboro, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Margie Lively Crabtree, 84, of Owensboro, KY passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born October 29, 1928 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, to the late Oscar Lively and Beulah Wilson Lively. She retired from GE after 38 years of service and was a member of Parrish Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and made Barbie doll clothes.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Eugene Crabtree (1994), step-mother, Madeline Smith Lively and three brothers, James, David and Danny Lively.

She is survived by her siblings, Beatrice Stone of Danville, Anona Daugherty of Inman, South Carolina, Jeanette Hester of Owensboro, Billie June Cappelli of Acworth, Georgia.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Cotton officiating and burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home Wednesday prior to the service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western KY, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
