Sue Nelson 79, of Livermore, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Sue Nelson 79, of Livermore, KY passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at her home in Livermore. Nettie Sue Boyken was born September 12, 1933 in McLean County, KY to the late Oscar and Cordie Carman Boyken and was married to William Walton Nelson on July 10, 1954. She was a graduate of Livermore High School, KY Wesleyan College, and received her Rank I from Western KY University. Sue retired as the Guidance Counselor from McLean County High School and was a member of the Livermore Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of the McLean County Retired Teachers and also enjoyed traveling, and spending time with both her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William Walton Nelson who passed away November 7, 2000.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Joseph and Nancy Nelson of Sacramento; and two grandsons, Lee Walton Nelson and Ian Joseph Nelson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Clive Bell officiating. Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery in Livermore. Friends may visit with Sue's family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Thursday at Musters in Livermore.
